ThinkWriteSpeak was founded in Shanghai in 2021 by coaches who believed that writing and debate deserved to be taught as a craft, not ticked off as curriculum boxes.
Our Story
ThinkWriteSpeak was founded in Shanghai in 2021 by Jinping Guo. The idea was simple: most students at China’s top international schools were receiving a strong academic education. What they were not being taught was how to think through a problem, structure an argument, and communicate it clearly.
The programme began small. A handful of coaches, a focused curriculum, a group of parents who recognised what was missing. It grew because the work was specific enough to matter.
Five years on, ThinkWriteSpeak works with students from over a dozen of Shanghai’s top international schools. The coaching team now spans multiple nationalities, based in Shanghai and internationally. The curriculum has grown. The original conviction has not: expression is a skill. It can be taught, and it matters more than most schools make time for.
