Teach with Us

Teach something worth teaching, in a city worth living in.

We are looking for writing and debate coaches who want to do serious work with sharp students in one of the world’s great cities.

What We Offer

Who We Are Looking For

‼️ All applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree, have at least two years of relevant work experience, and be able to provide a clean medical and police background check. These are requirements for your China work visa.

What Your Week Looks Like

Most coaching happens in the evenings and at weekends, when students are free from school. Classes run one to two hours each. You will have two days off mid-week, time to explore the city, prepare sessions, or decompress.

It is not a nine-to-five. It suits people who want their mornings free and their afternoons and evenings purposeful.

How It Works

1. Get in touch

Send us a copy of your CV with a bit about yourself and what draws you to ThinkWriteSpeak.

2. Interview

A conversation with our founder to get to know each other and confirm the role is a good fit.

3. Teaching Task and Coach Interview

You prepare and deliver a short teaching task. You also meet the coaching team — it is as much a chance for you to assess us as it is for us to assess you.

4. Offer and Paperwork

We handle everything from the written offer to the visa and work permit process.
